Default My new Killer Fat Bob...

Traded the '09 Streetglide for this bike at Sacramento Harley on Saturday. Has among other things the Harley Stage 5 Tire Shredder Kit. Pipes burn my leg something terrible in slow traffic but it's worth it. This is my second Dyna, the other is an '04 Wide Glide. I'll never sell either one. Dynas are the real Harleys. Accept no substitutes.

I cannot post pictures on the Board for some reason but here's a link to another thread:

If someone could be so kind as to post the picture, I'd be grateful.

Thankd WGF. that fairing comes of in 10 seconds, goes on in 30. Quiet zone behind it is every bit as good as the old Streetglide with the Klokwerks shield.

Is there that much difference between your old bike and the "stage 5?"

This bike is conservatively rated at @ 115 hp. It is the stonkiest Harley I've ever ridden. It feels in some ways like my Hayabusa I sold three years ago except a much harder tune.

Bike is basically unrideable under 30mph. It belt bangs under 2000rpm. I have to feather the clutch or I'll get the chanka-chank from the belt. Torque is up high, bike wants to run at 90 on the freeway. I have a Stage 1 '04 WG that is a sweet chrome bike, rides like a Schwinn with a Whizzer motor.

This bike rides like a Pro-stock 427 Chevy with wheelie bars. I love it, it sounds unreal, not so much loud which it is but the unearthly THUMP!!! every time a plug lights up a cylinder. I picked up the front wheel getting on the freeway the other day without even trying. You get that gnaw in your belly when you light it up the same as the old Busa.

Congrats on the bike, looks great! Would be interested in the details of the motor work though, just don't think a 115 hp Harley needs to be unrideable below 30 mph...

Sounds like a Ducati...they hate slow speeds. Congrats!
