Default Added Mid Mounts and More Cushion Pegs

finished mounting mids




referring to the sevice book





pulled the plugs out with wine cork tool.... yes.. a wine cork tool<br/><br/>thank you forum





nasty under those plugs





anti seize, bolts p/n: 43214, and lock washers p/n: 7045





right mount is on, torqued to 35ft-lbs<br/><br/>peg on p/n: 91821-85<br/><br/>right done





pulled the plugs out with wine cork tool, again





9/16 socket. 9/16 wrench.<br/><br/>spring washer for peg mounting p/n: 250912-72<br/><br/>hex? locktite





left mount is on, torqued to 35ft-lbs





left done











done for now. mulling over the value of moving the controls

Lookin good!

I assume that electrical panel chrome piece just sticks on like the reflectors or the forks / rear fender did?



Are those clutch cable clamps the Drag Specialties? If so, how's the fit & finish? I see several options from other brands, but wasn't sure how well the DS version were made. I guess the billet version of any of the manufactures is the way to go.

they are great. i had a bad run with drag prior but these are great. cheap too @ $12


Yes, the trim went on with some super tape that was already on the part, it left a gap up front. i filled that with tacky glue. the glue dries clear.

there was an incident with the t30 bolt (made of butter) holding on the upper belt guard. had to drill the head off. will swing by ace tomorrow and get a hex replacement.

Replaced the torx30 bolts with 5/16-18 hex bolts:

5/16-18 1 1/2"
