Man, you got some serious gears turning up top, but I like your process. Great work!

There's someone I saw on Instagram that makes a good looking nutless front axle, I'll see if I can dig up some info.

2nd one is cool, but will you have to consider some form of positive locking, away from a split pin for looks. discreet tab washer perhaps

The ugly one is a quick and dirty (very inaccurate) representation of the stock axle. I'll put together models this week once I get home and can pull dimensions.

The holes will serve as both tool engagement (spanner) as well as locking (either set screws or safety wire).

Thanks, but I have one already. It's a bagger axle from Khrome Werks, I believe. Looks really nice but it is heavy as hell.

Thank you! I fancy myself a jack of all trades. That means too many costly hobbies and ideas, unfortunately.

Mine is the one from Klock Werks. I would probably do something different if I could turn back the clock, but it definitely is clean.

Weighed the swingarm.

arm & bearings = 8.5lb (Brocks 10.9lb)
3/4 axle & blocks = 2.4lb (Brocks 2.85lb (1" axle))

No idea what the stock setup weighs yet but Brocks claims theirs "shed(s) 50% of unsprung weight vs OEM swingarm". The swingarm isn't easily split into sprung and unspring sections. They may be using the whole thing or just the small portion aft of the shock mounts. No idea.
