Not really. It's kinda still in pieces. I'm hoping to get it at least rideable by Sunday, tho. I'll get better pics once it's out of my **** box of a garage.

Nothing happening worth pictures, really. Ended up out of town most of the weekend so I didn't get anything done then. Just picked up some steel and shoulder bolts for the seat mounts. I'm painting the custom metal covers/brackets tonight and tomorrow. Thurs I'll be put of town. Friday night I hope to get the primary buttoned up. Sat/Sun are about half booked but it would be nice to squeeze in enough time to get the seat mounts fabbed and welded, then I can paint the bare spots on the frame. With a little luck I can roll it out of the garage for a quick shakedown sometime next week. Hopefully the wet weather breaks.

Starter was looking pretty ragged so I hit it with some HD "texture black" while I had it open to do the carb brackets.


I also did the electrical backing plate and top engine mount. They're hanging on hooks with the carb brackets in the garage

 

 

After three days of dicking around (daily post 1 daily post 2), I finally got the primary buttoned up. Primary chain is adjusted. Clutch is adjusted. I still need to add fluids and adjust the secondary chain tension before the drivetrain is done. Also need to wrinkle paint the inspection cover. I wasn't happy with the first application.

Ok...so i just looked through the submitted approval requests. I can't seem to find one which allows you to continue with your project. Maybe it's just misplaced. Continue on until i can give you a definite answer.

 

I think the forms are still on Hilary's personal server. I'll email the FBI director and have him forward them to you.
