Fitting a 200 tire to a Street Bob
I have seen quite a few pictures of street bobs fitted with 180 and 200 tires. I know the 180 can be done on a standard rim but what size wheel/rim will I need to fit a 200? Is there anything else that I will need to do to do this mod other than the turn signal wiring. Do I need any spacers or anything? Finally will a 200 go under the stock fender?

200MM Rear Tire
I have a 190mm tire on my 06 Street Bob. It was and still is a pain in the a** to take the rear tire off the bike and also to reinstall. The Dyna frames were changed in 2009 and I don't think it will be hard for you to get a 200 tucked in under that fender. I have my 190 mounted on a 6.25" x 17" rim. The wiring is still run in the rubber channel on the underside of the fender.
The way I did mine was to get the rim and put the bike up on a jack so that it was stable. I then just started adding the parts on the rim, i.e. brake rotor and belt pulley and the wheel spacers. If all of those things fit and there is still room for the nut on the axle, your good to go. Check to make sure the valve stem will clear the brake caliper as I had to grind a groove in my caliper for the shortened valve stem to clear. One of the most depressing sounds after that mod is PSSSSSSSSSSSS...
BTW I didn't have to mod my fender at all...It was wide enough.
My rear tires have been sport bike tires and they, so far, haven't grown in height at high speed.

There are numerous threads on this subject here, fitting a 200 on a 5.5 or 6" rim is not a huge project. Someone above mentioned a frame change in 2009... I'm not aware of that, pretty sure the frames from 2006 to current in the dynas have stayed the same. Wide glides are a touch wider between the struts I believe.
200's are a tight fit but do fit, look great and don't affect handling at all, if anything I feel mine is better on the road with it
