Default Bike won't start after washing

Washed my bike this afternoon. After washing it will not turn over. Hit the run button it engages the fuel pump, lights come on. Hit the start button and there's nothing. No clicks, nothing. Checked fuses they all are fine.
I tested the wires going to the button and there's power there. Only other thing I could see is there's some water in the rubber plug that holds the cable/wire going into the starter. Could that be it?
Im stumped on this weird turn of events.

I'm sure you checked, but starting with the obvious, you didn't accidentally hit the kill switch did you? It happens.

Did you spray water at the handlebar switches?

lol, I figured that was first thing you checked but you would be surprised at how many times that turns out to be the case.

Check and double check your grounds, clean the battery terminals. There can easily be enough of a connection to run all but the high draw starter. Then see if you have power at the starter/ solenoid. You don't have a neutral or clutch safety switch do you?

There's no neutral/clutch safety switch. Would a bad starter relay have these sort of symptoms? It doesn't click or anything. No sounds

Switch the 2 relays around in your fuse box (starter and system relays are interchangeable). Try to start it again and I bet you will find you had a bad relay. It happened to me twice. In your Case sounds like a starter relay

My bike didnt have a neutral/clutch safety switch for a year, then it randomly did...just put it in neutral to be sure!
