Alloy art rear signals installed on 15 can us bob
Got these installed today
Alloy art rear turn signals
What I have:
08 rear fender
Dyna non split tail light base harness
New style multi plug tailight base
Old style non led tail light and bulb
Fabricated connections for turn signals
Drilled fender strut bracket for wires
Jb Water weld, signal wires to fender
So, these signals took me about 3 hours. I hung and painted the alloy art signals first
Used rubbing alcohol to prep them
Made a paint hanger from pvc
Fishing wire to hang them
Then used a tester to determine what is left and right signal power on new tail light base
Stripped signal wires and soldered the wire to clean up any loose ends
Used Harley pins and plastic harness to creat connections for new style tail light base
Had to drill out the saddle bag bracket under the fender so the wires could cleanly go through the fender
Then used Jb weld to press and hold the wires under the fender
Lastly I zip tied all extra wires in the new tailight base
Turns signals are great. Also when I hit the brakes, the signals illuminate too. They are supper low profile and really tucked inside the bags well
