Corrosion spots on fork tubes

Hit the dealer first then go from there....they've gotten a whole cleaner and shinier since this was done.

Went to the dealer with the bike, and after a quick check they told me that this is definitely a warranty-issue. So they will replace the fork tubes, end of story. The corrosion seems to be under the coating layer, so something has failed in the manufacturing process I guess.
I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem occur with a late model Harley?

and 0000 steel wool if terry cloth scrubbing does not get the oddball oxidation off.
