Default kick stand with taller shocks?

hey guys i currently have the burley slammer shocks and went with the 1" under kick stand. i want to go to a 12" shock which as we all know is 1" over stock. would i need to go with a 1" over kick stand or will the stock kick stand work?

I did not need a 1 inch longer stand. The bike does have some lean to it and I try to put the stand up slope if I can. Originally I did look for a long stand but didn't have any luck. Did find a ton of shorter stands.

If the lean is too much for you I've seen some weld a piece on the bottom of the stand foot to prop it up a bit more. On one of my older bikes I would carry around a small piece of plywood. Small enough to fit in my jacket pocket. Got the 1/2 inch extension and gave the stand a bigger foot print so it was less likely to sink.

Take the kickstand off the bike and have the resting tab welded to make it larger. This will decrease the lean of the bike.

I didn't know that. I thought 12" was stock length...

Do you still have your stock kickstand?
