Default Help! What's up with this tire!

What in the hell would make my tire wear like this...this is the second tire to do this to me...is it a balance issue?

Laced rim out of concentricity? That or balance would be my best guesses.

Weak shocks can cause that.

It's worn out with possibly a broken belt. My Dunlop looked about the same after 4700 miles but my tread was a little more even all the way around. Not as severe as yours.

In my experience, which is admittedly limited, get away from those Dunlops.

If it has spoked rims I'd get the true checked. Next time try the Dunlop American elite. My 2 cents

if you have done that to more than 1 tire i would say too soft of shock or out of true wheel
I think that tire was the Michelin scorcher which is an improvement over the dunlop

To me it looks like its wearing normally as it should. Straight down the middle wearing out the longest water channels first and leaving the shorter ones intact. If anything it maybe just a tad over-inflated by a couple of pounds.
