Default Luggage Rack for HD One Piece Detach Sissy Bar

Has anyone found a production luggage rack or have any designs for a custom luggage rack that they've used to attach to the HD One Piece Quick Detach Sissy Bar? I have purchased a Saddleman's tour pack that has worked great over my two up seat but I'm looking for a sissy bar rack so I can put the tour pack on in order to tour with a passenger. Let me know of anything that you guys have had work! Thanks.

I found a simple design on another website. Used a piece of aluminum and cut out ovals. Bent the sides to make runners. Seemed pretty simple if you have some stuff to fab. Don't know how far you want to go to make your own though. The website had something like "crap" in the name....

Haha yea I don't know if I want it if it had crap in the design name.... my brother in law owns a machine shop so I'm sure between him and I we could formulate something up too. But if anyone has any proven designs that'd be great.

Am I missing something? HD makes a luggage rack (s). The only downfall is that it days 10lb max which makes me hesitant to buy one. I carry more weight usually.

have the HD detachable rack on my LR, have had over 10lb on it, I think the weight rating is due to liability concerns.

I have a HD rack on my detachable sissy bar, it to said it had a 10 pound limit. I have had a Saddlemen EX2200 Sissy Bar Bag filled to the hilt (maybe 30lbs) on it without issue. I would say the 10lbs warning has to do with the bike CG, to much wait hanging off the rear like that could make the front end a little light in the traction.

Bag like this.

When you have the one piece quick detachable sissy bar with the sissy bar and quick detach side plates welded together Harley doesn't make a luggage rack to fit. There are 2 on JP Cycles that are supposedly "universal" but one has terrible reviews and the other looks like ****.
