Pads come in a variety of prices & materials, and according to claims, cater to various customer performance preferences. Check out product descriptions on the various sites that sell pads and you'll see what I mean. As a newbie to this, thats what I did and then based my final decision on product claims that appealed to me as well as customer reviews of the product.

I believe the OEM pads are a basic sintered pad and wouldn't be difficult or expensive to match.

Good friction material vs. cheap stock crap is like night and day.

Carbon kevlar, FTW.

Do you remember the EBC part number? I couldn't find it on the J&P website.

That's the J&P number. The EBC number would be FA400, FA400V, FA400VLD, or FA400HH. By the J&P description, I'm assuming they are the FA400.

They really need to include the mfg. part number or provide links to the mfg spec page.

Can't go wrong w/ EBC & Lyndall pads! I'm running the Lyndall Gold+ front and back w/ awesome results. I paired them w/ EBC Contour Cut rotors as well.

Also, wanted to note that I ran the pads for couple thousand on stock rotors before I added the new rotors.
