No light with fuel pump prime?

No light with fuel pump prime?
Hey everyone, just joined the Dyna family! Picked up a 2014 low rider with ABS and Security and am noticing the the Check Engine Light is not illuminated when the pump is priming.
Light is good because it does light up when I turn the ignition on. However, after it goes out, I flip the Handlebar switch to the "run" position, hear the pump prime, but no light.
Manual states the light should be on for about 4 seconds while it primes, which is how it was on my sporty.
Anyone else encounter this? Seems to turn over OK everytime and runs alright.
