03 Low Rider Indicators into a 06-09 Handlebar Clamp
I'm looking to relocate my stock 03 Low Rider indicators from the visor and I'm trying to find out if they will fit into the stock 06-09 Low Rider handlebar clamp ? The mounting hole/slot looks the same but I don't know if its the same size and all plus the part numbers for the indicator different. Has anyone done this swap?
Thanks,
John

I'll answer my own question here for those that might want to do this swap in the future as I went ahead and bought a 06-09 Low Rider Riser setup.
Yes, the early style Low Rider indicator lights (05 and earlier) that are in the headlight clam shell bracket does fit into the 06 and up handlebar clamp location. I found out that you have to remove all the pins from the 10 pin connector as the connector is too big to fit through the mounting slot. One other problem that came about is the front cover that bolts onto the risers fits really loose. I think this was because the indicator light holder is different that the 06-09 design even though the assembly fits. I had to add some rubber weatherstripping (about 1/4" thick) to the foam that was already on the inside of the cover and I also had to add some to the retainer that bolts the cover onto the risers to get it to snug up.
Other than that cover fitting loose the 06-09 risers fit and looks great.
