Anyone have final drive locking tool for sale or rent? Other ideas?
As the title says, does anyone got a final drive sprocket holding tool for sale or rent? Maybe another cheap effective idea for holding the sprocket.
Gathering parts for 30/70 swap and don't want to pay more for a 1 time tool than the sprocket itself. Thanks.:icon_headbang: |
Unless your sprocket was free, the tool is pretty damn cheap on Amazon, or most machine/welding shops will sell you an appropriate piece of flat stock or angle iron cut to the right size for cheap

I am not talking about the Primary drive lock, I am talking about this tool.... which costs about $130-$150 depending where you look.

I clamped my pulley with a wood clamp and wedged it against the swingarm. I'll say it worked, but it was pretty sketchy. Bent the clamp, but I'm only out $15.
