First off; getting into the 60's in age and bit of discomfort creeping into elbow on long rides; sure could use a real cruise control to give the arm a rest. Throttle lock don't work worth a crap IMO. I imagine the problem with adapting a genuine cruise control is in the wiring. HD still sells a kit; 77196-08; to retro-fit cruise on an FLH. Has anyone figured out the wiring to put this on a Dyna??? Did a few searches and this has been talked about before, but found no one who has fitted electronic cruise to a Dyna...nor does there seem to be any aftermarket support.

Ooops! FLH's apparently were throttle by wire in 08, so kit is prob no good for cable throttle setup. Obsolete kit 77197-07 may work? Or adapt a carb cruise? Buddy has one on his '06 FLHS with CV.

 

There's a guy over on HTT that did it to his Dyna I believe. Joe Lyons. I believe it involved swapping throttle body to a touring style. He runs a shop if you want to contact him:
