Front Fender Delete
Looking for pros & (especially) cons of removing my front fender....
Would like the cons to come from people who have actually ran a bike without one.
All I can think of for cons is the rain, but I wonder how much worse that could be when it does come from the sky and going to hit me anyway. Also, Boise, ID area is a desert so there is that....

Yeah, I once had a Sportster with a fork brace but no fender... It looked cool, but... The problem with having a bike that really does look cool is that you then want to keep it (at least somewhat) cleaner than an "average" looking bike... Keeping a bike clean with no front fender = Losing Battle.

If you do most of your riding in town, you might get away with no fender. If you ever hit the interstate (or any other over 50 mph highways for that matter), leave it on. Sand and small rocks hitting you in the face at 80-90mph is no fun-and a faceshield won't last long in those conditions, either.....

Played that no front fender game a few times; with the amount of debris, water, and downright garbage I caught that didn't last long. If it's not a dedicated bike night/perfect weather/bar hopper I want a front fender.
I've added an extension to my Wide Glide's front fender and I'm looking for an even longer fender that has the factory profile.
Remove the front fender and give it a try, see what you think One thing, while your front forks are metric, the fender mounting bolts are SAE; don't go after the front fender bolts with your metric tool kit
