Default Hill Country Custom bars

So im getting ready to finally pull the trigger on putting ape hangers on my 01 WG. I like the traditional look, and think i have decided to go with the HCC brand ape hangers bc they have less pullback than the wild1. 1st: Anyone have these bars that i can see a pic of?? 2nd: Anyone have any input about the height? (I talked to the guys over there yesterday and he said if i was looking at 16" wild1 bars, then I would want the HCC 18". And 18" seems so tall)

If their bars are as good a quality as their cables, they are on my 'To Consider' List. Get a measurement of the diff heights then compare between bars. Take your time deciding since it gets real expensive from here on out.

Your prob not getting too many responses because of how many bar options there are. I gotta admit the Reapers look sick on a Dyna and if I decide to do another set of bars it's going to be tough to decide which one I want. Not to mention whether I should do chrome or black. HCC has fully wired kits available for $499 which gives you some options. Having to splice longer wires is time consuming not to mention stressful. One bad solder and your going to go nuts trying to figure out WTH. If I'm not mistaken the wired kits are plug and play, how much simpler can that get huhh. If they had black bar kits available, I'd be sold but so far I only see chrome.....I'm kinda glad in a way, It's enough to give me pause. A fully wired set with plug and play connectors would push me over the edge and I promised myself (the wife heard me!!!) that I wasn't going to go crazy with ad ons on this bike. I might have to make it my long term plan to do one or two upgrades per year and spread it out.

I like the wild1 chubby bars and reputation.. Just not sure if they're going to have too much pull back in them. I want my hands pretty straight forward

FYI tucci, im pretty sure you can build your own kit on their and get everything in black.. dont tell your wife im the one that told you that though....

I think im leaning towards buying the bars from Wild1 and doing Magnum cables. HCC hasnt thrilled me with their customer service yet.. giving me a bad vibe. Its going to cost me an extra $100, but I havent read anything bad about magnum yet.
