Comfortable as the day is long, no fatigue / soreness after riding, no regrets

I have the Explorer "Road Sofa" on a '13 Super Glide. Love it! VERY close to same position as stock seat. It is a really comfortable seat that has gel, but doesn't get too hot. The best thing about it, for me, is the way the back is separated from the bottom to promote better posture.

I've got one, with the driver's backrest. It's a great seat, and looks pretty good for a big seat. That said, I only ever use it for two-up riding, and I never use the backrest, as there's so much lumbar support already. Unlike most big/touring seats, it's not puffy/soft, so you still get a clean seat-of-the-pants connection to the bike and the road.

For that same reason perhaps, it's not immediately comfortable - You need to wear it in, like new shoes, over a couple of hundred miles.

My only issue is that it will collect water during prolonged rain, and squish it out for days after every time you sit on it. That's not unusual itself but, for a not-inexpensive touring seat, I reckon it should be.

Nikwax will also help seal the spots, against rain, that have stitching or buttons.
