The right size wrench will also fit automotive WIX and AC delco filters If you need me to measure it - it'll take a day or two Ghost |
Ghost 13 could be right.
I just use a common automobile small filter strap wrench, hasn't failed me yet. |
For anyone referencing this thread in the future, it looks like the 74/76mm 15 flute filter wrench is the right one. I won't be able to confirm it until I buy one and that won't be for awhile since I've got 1k miles to put on the bike before my next oil change.

I bought the Harley filter wrench for my Switchback and it only works to remove the filter not to tighten one when changing filters. I bought a strap wrench that works fine with any filter.
Before you all remind me that you only tighten hand tight I will say that there is no room on a Switchback to even get a couple of fingers in there. |

The strap on my strap wrench is attached to a socket that takes any 3/8ths extension from the front of the filter. Works perfect on a dyna. I got it at Amaze On. Is is called a motion pro oil filter strap wrench 08-0069 and cost $11.73. Expensive yes but it was the perfect solution to tightening the filter just right.

Same thing with my Dyna, there's no room to put a strap wrench between the down tubes on the frame. If I'm going to remove or install a filter, it needs to be done straight out from the filter not from the front between the frame tubes.
swivel head oil filter strap wrench. I got the good one, it cost $7 |
