Default Bikers Choice Fork boots installed

Installed the long version using the cut and Super Glue method. Came out great and much easier than removing the forks. 30 minute job.

Well they look good on there!
You're saying you actually sliced them from top to bottom and then super glued them?
I removed the wheel and caliper and pulled them over the fork tubes like a pair of pants.

Yeah, I figured some silicone spray, or dielectric or something to aid...

Wow, I wonder how many compression cycles that glue will last?

Yup. Super Glue bonds rubber better than it bonds your fingers. :-)

Ain't nothing wrong with trying something new but if they don't hold I would try the wheel removal method if you have to do it again

You were able to stretch the 49mm hole over the 70mm lower fork and caliper bolt bosses ?

It'll go but it's a pain over where the caliper mounts but less so over the fender mounts. If you have the option to lift the front end and drop the tubes from the trees that's the easiest way imo but I've redone my forks a few times so I'm pretty quick at it now.

That's just ruining a pair of decent boots IMO. Removing the wheel and sliding them up the forks with some wd40 takes only a few minutes and a can of beer.
