I'm 54. My 1988 FXLR seems to get rode more then my 2003 Big dog chopper, due to how maneuverable it is.

Club style bikes started in San Fransisco by the 81. They took FXRs and Dynas, tweaked them so they were bare bones, get the job done type of bikes that were easy to maneuver in traffic. Drag bars, maybe a small fairing. The TV show sons of anarchy made it popular in the mainstream. Kurt Sutter had 81s on staff as technical advisors.

Here are a few typical 81 club bikes. An FXR in the middle of two Dynas.

I am 45 and to this day my best party trick is going a kickflip on your kids skateboard while holding a beer. I love my Dyna and just started giving it a Club Style look. Its just a perfect fit for these kinda bikes. One day I will be a on geezer glide, but today I want something wild out on!
