Default How do you remove this plug?

Hey everyone,

This is probably a stupid question, but I can't figure out how to remove this screw/plug. I just got my bike two days ago and I'm trying to install the bung king crash bar/highway pegs. Figured I should protect my investment especially since I'm a new rider. By the way, is it just me or are bikes (as compared to cars) much more complicated when it comes to modifications?

Also, I have the passenger peg/crash car from bung king but it didn't come with directions nor could I find it anywhere. I know it might be overkill but better safe than sorry for me! Anyone with experience on this?
Reference: http://www.bungking.com/passenger-peg-crash-bar-late-dyna/

Thanks in advance, all!

After my first ride

it's just plastic. Take a small screw driver or pick and use it to pry it out.

Those are just a plastic plug. I've removed them with a very small flat bladed screwdriver or an ice pick. Never mind, 'themouth' beat me to it.

Sweet ride. Give it 6 mo or so and you'll have modifying that bike figured out. I'd say it's easier but you have an example?

Those plastic covers are over threaded holes, just for highway pegs/engine guards.

For your passenger bars... just hold them up to the bike... you *should* be able to see where they go.. or hold them up/take a pic and post, and we'll fill in the blanks

Start a sheet metal screw, self-tapping, into the plug and then just pull it out with a pair of pliers.
