Are fuel injected tanks for dyna's any different than non fuel injected ?

Right, but can you use non fuel injected tanks on fuel injected bikes. Specifically will a 07 streetbob FXDB tank bolt up to a FXDBI and vice/versa.......and use the pump etc.. I ordered a parts manual but wanted any information available from the forum.

I wasn't aware you could still get a carbed engine in 2007...

 

no I dont believe you can. I obviously am a newbie on here just trying to fix this 07 I got teaching myself stuff. Thanks for the help

 

OK... I looked up an '05 FXDC and FXDCI and they do, in fact, appear to use the same tank. I may have been talking out of my ***, sorry. I can't find the parts list for the older injected bikes. I know my '99 was at one point available with injection, but it's not listed. I don't have any hand-on experience with EFI Harleys.

I think 2005 was the last year for carb or FI. In 2006 they left the "I" (I think for clarity) on there even though there was no other option, but in 2007 HD dropped the "I".
