Looking to swap out the brake light for an led strip light, just looking for a bit of direction and possibly a wiring diagram.

 

Removing the 'donkey d*ick' taillight will leave a big hole in the fender you'll need to cover. Three bolts from under the fender to remove it. The tail-light is LED. Inside the taillight unit are plugs for the taillight, and for both indicators. ie a bunch of spaghetti to re-locate.

For tail-lights etc, Custom Dynamics is likely to have something which is either plug-and-play or straightforward to adapt.

Installed CD LED's today on my 10' bob. I found this non blurry version, two days ago. Davdoodles is right though, it will leave a big, ugly hole if you remove it. I hate it and looking at options as well. A few guys picked up a cheap fender and had the hole filled, then squirted their color and installed that. Then sold the fender that was on it to re-coup some money.
