Fat Bob with Low Rider rear fender
Hey guys,
Long time member but don't really post much. Mostly read and learn. This is one of the best forums I've been on in all the motorsports I've been involved in and figured it's time I contributed.
I really, really like my Fat Bob but the bobtail fender just didn't sit right with me and while the Wide Glide fender is a decent option I just wasn't liking the shortness of it. Then the Low Rider fender catches my eye and while I know it's a bit narrow for the Fat Bob struts I can over look the space difference because now when I look at my bike either before a ride or after I smile like a fat kid in a candy store.
In doing the conversion I changed the rear light to the Speed-Kings LED with integrated signals and added Custom Dynamics front signals along with their load equalizer. Overall I'm stoked how it turned out and other than wanting further forward mid controls my bike is a great fit and looks way killer( to me anyway)

With the addition of further forward controls you will have built what I consider a very highly desirable Dyna. When I was looking at bikes in 2013 I loved the ride of the FatBob but couldn't get past the look of the rear fender and didn't like riding with forward controls. Yours is the answer.
If you are considering bags a look at Bad &G saddlebags. They are leather and mount with straps around the strut. I won't add them because they will mar the paint on the fender but that won't happen with yours.
Enjoy your unique ride!
