Dyna models. What's the diff??
Hey peoples! Just wondering If there are any Dyna savvy people out there who would be willing to tell me the difference between some different models. In particular the Street Bob, Super glide, and Low rider s. Do they all have the same engine? Do they just have different chassis??? Just trying to learn! So any knowledge or links to some would be appreciated!!!

Was in the same boat as you a few years ago. Here's a brief start.
1. All the same engine besides the Low rider S 2. Same frame 3. The main difference is the stance and frackle parts. Some have longer rake like the wide glide, some have less flash like the street bob, some have different pipes etc. |

"So my bike has a 103 twin cam and it's an 883"
With statements like this you may be a troll. |

OK so the LSR is faster I'm assuming?? So my bike has a 103 twin cam and it's an 883. I always thought the bikes speed and power was rated from the second number? So what's the 103, 110, or 117 for?
wait, what?:icon_saywhat: your 883 is an 883 evolution engine, 4 cams. the big twins are very different. sportster. evo https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...4a69850185.jpg twin cam https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...803074879e.jpg |

Ok, so basically their just different builds off the same engine and chassis?
The lowrider has a little more rake in the trees. (And the dual brakes). After that it comes down to aesthetics. They're Harleys, the MOCO is banking on the majority of people buying based on looks. The two models you haven't listed (WG and Fatty) also have larger tanks. But almost everything is changeable so buy something cheap in good nick with low miles and make it your own. |
