I have posted about wheel bearings some time ago and given bearing numbers.

Wheel bearing failures of stock bearings are something I have seen on more than one FXD and FL. I have been very surprised that H-D used sub-standard bearings but they have.

I do not know about now but, going back to '07 models, I have seen stock bearings labeled from all over the world, including Asian countries. I am not saying that all world-sourced bearings are junk but the ones H-D has used have failed me.

Go with a Timken/Fafnir, SKF, *** etc and , no matter where the parts are made, the will be reliable.
