So I got it. I was looking for a seat with outstanding back support. Although this seat kicks ***. How I requested it, ended up giving the rise of seat to much rearward lean angle

I called up BMC and talked it through. He says he just wants me to be happy and he would redo it


so I measured what I need and he is making me a new rendition of this seat. It's got the same proportions as previously posted. He will add 2-3/16" of forward reveal to to top of seat. Ultimately giving me full back support from top of backrest to bottom

my seating position will stay the same. I will be able to lean back on all of the surface area of the uprise and I have to say, It really feels amazing having full back support. I have previously owned a mustang vintage wide with a backrest and it does not compare to the feeling, support and look of this seat

I have nothing but great things to say about BMC. He is handling every request of mine and it's all in a positive manner.

Ill have my adjusted seat back late next week as I'm shipping back to him in the morning. I'll get pics up when I get it

 

Any up-charge on having to send the current seat back for a new one? I'm really interested in using BMC for my seat build because well...all the hype...that or lucky dave's

 

Did you take any photos of this while you had it on the bike? I am instrested to see how it all flows with the frame and fender.

 

No upcharge. I did pay to ship it back That's is all

Well I'm super excited. He received the seat today and gave me a call. Not only did they have to start from scratch again. I requested another detail. That is a tail bone cut out. I injured it January and can not ride for very long as I think it still broken

so. This is a wall seat with custom height, custom seat position on saddle and a tail bone area scooped out

they did all this work today and reskinned it. Also shipping it out today. As you can probably tell I'm a big fan of there constomer service and could not speak higher of the company

That's cool, I like one-off custom stuff; hustle like that from a company seems rare anymore, good job by them

 

Added a tail bone notch out with a stitch that won't pull seat leather against tail bone


Yes that a lot of rise. But for my size it supports my back perfectly. Could not be happier
