Where did you get your FXDF sliders machined down? I am alsoin the Northern VA area and need to do the same thing.

share some tips and pointers when you swap from forwards to mid controls...
i plan on doing the same on my '14 street bob.

"A pretty close approximation (which really will you get there) would be to remove:
approx .180" (maybe up to .190") Left-side (clutch lever side)
approx .040" (maybe up to .050") Right-side (brake lever side)"



I got the sliders machined at RBM Machine LLC : 44964 Underwood Ln a, Sterling, VA 20166. they did a great job.

the paint was done in San Diego, just a side project by my cousin-in law.
But that paint style is pretty popular in California and lots of custom paint shops can do it. I follow a couple painters on instagram and can refer someone if you're really interested.

Thanks so much for that info!!! That place is really close to where I work. Do you think the amount of machining would be the same for a 2010 SB with the rotor mounted to the stock laced wheel? The lowers are still sitting in a box so I will wait till I have everything mocked up before I do anything just to be sure.
