Default Stage 1 Street Bob FXDB

Brand new owner of a 2017 Street Bob and put a little over 100 miles on it. I love it, but I'm already getting an addiction and what I'd like to look into is something to make her roar a little louder. She sounds like a vicious box of kittens right now and was pointed to these forms by another Harley owner to get some ideas and get input from the community. Anyone want to help a guy out?

2:1 for performance or 2:2 for looks/sound. In most cases the difference between pipes is negligible so go with what you think looks and sounds the best. As an example, a Bassani 2:1 and a two brothers 2:1 are going to be very similar performance. However a 2:1 vs a 2:2 is where the difference comes into play.

Don't forget you'll need a way to tune the bike after you upgrade.

I understand your addiction and most of my current fix should be in my signature.

Here's what I'm looking at so far,

Vance & Hines Big Radius Exhaust For Harley Dyna 2006-2017

Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 Autotuner For Harley 2011-2017

Anyone running this, what else might I need to ensure everything works smoothly?

I am running the V&H big radius and people will say everyone has them but thats because they are sexy as hell IMO. I pulled the baffles out and installed some of the TTI's for better low end,
I also like them because people know when I am riding around them.

If you are considering a used set of pipes at all I've got a set of chrome big radius pipes I pulled from my 09 in favor of a 2:1 system. Id let them go much cheaper than new. let me know and I can PM you details.

I like my Bassani Pro street 2 into 2, deep sound and fairly loud. This with a fuel moto micro tuner, screaming eagle air cleaner and map/tune and the bike runs perfect.

Enjoy your ride!

I have the V&H Big radius 2-2 with Big City Thunder baffles in them. Love the sound, loud but has an awesome tone to it.

I was in your same shoes and after trolling here for months I ended up going with the Arlen Ness Big Sucker AC, Bassani Road Rage 3, and Dynojet Powervision. It was between the FP3 and Powervision and ended up getting the Powervision through Fuelmoto. I did the Powervision first and then a few months later did the AC and Pipes. Even on a stock bike the Powervision made a big difference. Fuelmoto has good pricing on them and when you start doing your other upgrades they will send you new maps for free.
