Welded an first coat of paint. Still open as to capping off the ends.

Done N Done! Perhaps 3hrs lab $10.00 mat. $1.00 paint An 4 Rum n Cokes.

Nice job. Maybe get some delrin for the ends *in case* you touch down around a very aggressive lean, so it'll slide and not potentially grab?

Per your thoughts as well as mine, finished up the ends of the crash bars. I made skid plates today an welded them on. I also have some UHMW plastic that will cover the contact surface.
