FXDLS Smart Siren
 

Has anyone added the smart siren to their Low Rider S? I am trying to install one on mine but the instructions are not very good at all.
I can't find the connection plug for the siren. I will appreciate any help I can get.
I have a 2017 FXDLS

• take off the seat
• take off the left side cover
• pull out the caddy
• snap the siren in on the lower part of the back of the caddy
• add wire that is currently plugged into a plastic cover/holder on the back of the caddy
• reinstall caddy.

it's the same on all late models. just dig in and go slowly, it will make sense as you go through it. you can cheat by going in through the hole under the seat but, there are lots of wires in your way but, it can be done.

Correct me if Im wrong but doesn't the LRS come with the alarm already? The Smart Alarm II has a battery back up. Only difference I can see is that it transmits through FM to a receiver sold separately. When I pulled my battery off for the winter that ****er started screaming like crazy. Shit I even try to stand it up with out the fob it yells at me. Or is that what the factory alarm does? Never had a bike with an alarm.
