Nope, HD has notoriously shitty fuel gauges that sooner or later fail.
80-90% of us all learn to use a "miles per gallon" test and the trip odometer to determine the actual fuel in the tank.
I replaced my '99 fuel gauge last year because it was DOA (when I bought the bike). They're not cheap, but it bugged the life out of me that the needle didn't move. I was less concerned about it being accurate than I was about it being "alive".
Is there a fuse for fuel guage??
