Default Really appreciate the Dyna forum

I've got two bikes. My LRS (Dyna) and my RGS (Rushmore touring) so I peruse both forums regularly. I just wanted to say, the Dyna forum folks are much more passionate, and technicallly oriented then *most* of the touring posters. No offense to them - good guys mostly, and obviously there are exceptions, but it seems we are more hands on then the other guys. Maybe that comes from being a younger crowd, though at age 51 I'm certainly not young (maybe at heart?) but nevertheless, carry on! Good to see helpfull advice and involvement.

Just saying.

Because guys that ride baggers, typically never work on their own bikes and sometimes are older guys that just started riding later in life. Not all, but a lot I have seen. I am 46, been riding for 30years, off and on, only cause of my time in the Army. I do most of my own wrenching and still would rather ride a dyna then anything else.

I'm sure that is absolutely true. I didn't post to rag on them, but more to praise us. Again. Just saying.

The Dyna's are motorcyclists motorcycles; we wrench, and we ride; hard. We're not soft or squishy, we're the last of the visceral HD Big Twin riders. We remember how it used to be, and the Dyna is the last connection now.

And, what's that 51 years old stuff? Kid

Awww that's so sweet... Your trying to say you love us.
But really the dyna forum is full of passionate people who love their motorcycles. People who want to know how their bikes work, and how to work on them. I'm happy to be able to learn from you guys.

The average IQ of Dyna owners must be 20 points above the bagger drivers.

But I digress...
