Default Question on Low Rider S SE110 motor

I'm toying with the idea of trading in the 48 for a Low Rider S but I'm not too knowledgeable on the twin cam engines. I see the placard for the Screaming Eagle 110 on the motor and was curious if the engine does indeed have any SE parts or if the 110 is just an "upgraded" version of the 103. Thanks for any information.

The "S" models do indeed get the 110/255 CVO engines, as well as an upgraded clutch,. and stage 1 AC. For peace of mind, I'd put S&S lifters and full compliment inner cam bearings, as those are two common issues on those engines.

I was browsing around HD's site and was wondering if any of the SE parts were already in the bike, such as the high volume oil pump or the high flow throttle body.

Nope, stock oil pump and 50mm throttle body.

The heads also flow more than the 103ci units. Bigger valves.

TBW, cruise control, 255 cam and SE clutch off the top of my head besides the obvious 7ci displacement.

The cruise control is amazing BTW. I still hang on with both hands but with a loose grip.

So is that considered a Stage 3 110 with the cams and heads? 117 is a stage 4?

Good ole cvaria, always swoops in to crack an egg of knowledge. Just wanting to learn all I can before my test ride tomorrow. I work IT for a fortune 500 mining company and like to know all the technical details.
