I went to dual discs on my dyna using fatbob lowers, I ended up machining the sliders instead of the calipers (used old touring calipers with lyndall pads), for the MC I used a brembo one from the touring line with a set of new EBC rotors, had to mod it a bit to make it work for the brake light but was a easy job, now the bike stops instead of just slow down, if I push the lever a bit hard I get thrown at the tank
Would the XR1200 brakes work front and rear on a 09 FXDF with mods of course? What year calipers to look for if so? Looking to improve brakes all around but with a different look for project "Wolf in sheeps clothing" build. Don't want to go high end on brakes but need better than Harley stock calipers.

XR1200 Fronts will work fine ... Rear, not so much (Sportsters have a Left Side brake)
