Do eeeeeeet...

Beyond the obvious over priced, high mileage, or binned bikes find one that's not been finger banged to badly. Everyone thinks they can wrench, but the reality is just a bit different. Find a Wide Glide that's as unmolested and stock as you can; the Wide Glide can end up as a garage queen, it's a bit harder to ride than it looks, so look for a bike with minimal mods and low miles.

Then, you can make it your own bike; the sky is the limit on a Wide Glide. Best bike HD has ever built, IMO

There's nothing you can't do to a Wide Glide; I took this image yesterday evening She's not done, not yet...

why such a finite point on the year? why not focus on price and total picture?

OP: TCC gave you some excellent advice there, it will pay to heed it.

Like Cvaria said, why limit yourself on the year? 2010 and up Wideglides are all pretty similar to each other.

TinCupChalice: Please tell us what that front brake setup is. (sorry about the hijack OP)

I'm looking to spend around $8K it seems the best DWG I can get for that price in So Cal is in the 2009 - 2011 range. 2012 was I think the first year of the new motor the 103 and they tend to be out of my price unless they are high mileage.

I'm interested in low mileage under 10K and as close to stock as possible.

Thumbs up

last month I stumbled onto my 2010 WG with 6400 miles and TC96 for $8500.. with 12" apes
so far other than a hosed up rear caliper... and the goofy red led's which i removed after the ride home, its been perfect.
