Ride my 2007 FSDC at least 6 days a week. The first start of the day it cranks and cranks, even it has a new HD battery. Finally it will start, all starting after that it starts almost immediately. Took it to the dealer, left it overnight (as this only happens in the morning), they said it starts fine. Today I had to crank and crank, same situation. Battery charges fine at 4.1, 2.7 amps, 230 csa. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

Your battery is dead and gone, don't care if it's a 'new' HD/Deka battery... next...

Seriously, that battery is toast; get a Yuasa GYZ20HL, problem solved, permanently...

Tuners can make a big difference in starting... I never crank mine for more than maybe two revolutions, and she fires up... all about getting those maps dialed in for starting. .. but I may look at that stronger battery

 

I have a 2006 LR. Mine was cranking and cranking too. I pulled all relays and fuses and cleaned them all. Some had a little corrosion on them. Problem solved.
