I have been searching and searching for a heel toe shifter for my 04 HD FXD with not much luck, I am not riding much nowadays because the single shifter is just getting to hard to shift(bad foot). I plan on putting forward controls on this bike sometime soon but for now they are mids. Do they even make them for mids? I just need to get a heel toe soon.

Vtwin is on back order, can't find any used Dewey's, Rock-it-shift only does Sportsters. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Its been a practical and inexpensive mod but if you can drill and tap it in the center of the splined hole and insert a set screw as indicated above, it will save you having to gorilla the spline pinch bolt to keep it from working its way off. Thats its only shortcoming for under 40 bux.

Pegs are extra, of course.

I am looking into these Kuryakyn 9063 Standard Forward Control, I am only 5'11" 31 seam at most. Would i need the extended kit instead? Anyone?

I finally just made my own heel tow. I am not a great welder but I took another shifter and cut the longer atm off and welded that to the stock shifter and then just grinded down the weld to smooth made sure no crack or holes presented themselves.

 

Hey Bigzie, how do you get your oil filter off, disassemble the shifter?
