Is there a way to get the gas cap to not rattle ?

Default Is there a way to get the gas cap to not rattle ?

If I hold my hand on it it's quite so I know the rattle is coming from the cap.

Mine doesn't rattle. You may need to buy a new gas cap?

You maybe right because I don't think it rattled when it was new.
I've looked it over pretty good and can't see how to possible stop it.
I'll have to stop in @ the stealer and check one out on a bike on the floor.
I'm sure if I just ask the service guys it'll be the old " they all do that "

Or upgrade to flush mount, then you can post back asking how to keep the trim ring on. Mine starts to peel up every once in a while

Mine started doing that, was driving me crazy... put some adhesive form on the two ***** to make a tighter fit, and now it never buzzes.
