Disconnected the Tru-trak links front and rear. The engine still doesn't want to move very well. Tried loosening the two front and rear engine isolator screws and turning engine over with the starter to 'jossle' things. No luck. I nearly pushed the bike off of my J&S lift trying to move the engine to the right. Quit at that point.

Not sure what to tell ya. Maybe the newer bikes aren't as flexible?

Could there be something else holding it up? Exhaust, maybe? Swingarm is definitely straight? No vertical slop at the rear axle adjusters that could cause a twist?

I just had the entire exhaust off to replace the gaskets at the head, so that part is fine. I just had rear wheel and the swing arm off (replaced bearing/bushing) and verified it works great when I reinstalled it. I adjusted the axle and it is spot on.

I took another close look and it appears to me that the front RH part of the engine is resting on the front of the J&S jack (along with the two frame rails). During the week I will attach some H-D jack adaptor blocks and then lift with the J&S and see if that is the problem.

Just for an FYI Sputhe is still selling these parts. I just purchased a rear mount only from them. They sent a PO to me via paypal and it should arrive today.

Wow, PayPal! That's a big move into modern commerce for them... Until very recently Sputhe only shipped COD!

Bam here it is. Just arrived. Also this is the first thing I have ordered from them so I had no idea that it used to be cod. Paypal is much easier. Just send an invoice and I pay it.

Maybe I missed it on their website, how much does the rear only cost?
