Default kickstand lubrication

my kickstand is starting to make a screeching noise when i kick it back and forth...i was under the bike to put some grease on it..but i cannot get into the pivots...i got 90 weight oil..but had to use a rag...no squirt can...it might have helped a little....how do you lubricate the kickstand?

Disassemble and grease or use a squirt can (or bottle) with a flexible spout.

Most bottles of gear oil have a tapered spout. Just stuff a tube over it and squirt away.

i completely remove mine and liberally apply copper anti-seize to the pivot point, then re install.

There are lots of aerosol lubricants, too. NOT WD40. Lubriplate is my fav, but not easy to find. A spray chain lube would be OK. I'm really liking Dupont chain-saver. Lithium is good, but most go on too thick to penetrate the joint.

Yes, but they require modification to work properly.
