Any first hand experiences?

Yup, looks cool. Could be interesting.
Why don't you ask the Triumph Forum what they think?

Not a member of the Triumph forum,

I know over at Sportster forum someone bought a T100 as a second bike, wondered if a Dyna rider has tried it and could give an opinion.

Yep, looks like a hard tail which is good.

One thing you know is that if you buy this, the seat is not the first thing you change.

Horizontal mono-shock under the seat.... probably way better suspension travel than a HD softail.

I did a test ride & short video review on one of those Bonneville Bobbers. Handles way better than the lean angle allows, I scraped pegs in nearly every corner until I slowed way down (probably equivalent to Fat Boy Lo or Breakout). Motor is fantastic, the V&H slip ons sounded awesome and it was a pretty comfy riding position. Triumph have done a great job as well bringing accessories to market. It's a great around town kind of bike. Really small fuel tank as well, I wouldn't expect much more if any than 100 miles per tank and that's running it low.

Test ride on the bobber runs through minute 6 roughly on my vid:
