i still think the 258's are too big and restricting the flow too much. ive lost top end pull when rolling on throttle, 95% of my commute is at 75-80mph in 6th it doesn't pull as well on top with these in. pulls alot better on low end though.
also it seems the motor is alot hotter when i get to work
anyone else experience the same thing?

I never noticed any top end loss. I did get a bit more heat, I think in part it was die to how well they scavenge exhaust putting you right on the edge of needing a tune. I also have a 103HO so I had an open element breather similar to the ventilator stock which may have added to the lean condition in my case. Do you have a tuner or anything on yours?

I would recommend going with the 158 Model TTI's for your bike.
If the diameter was AT LEAST 3" or larger, then you would need the 258 Model.

so I resized them on the bench grinder to 2" OD and will reinstall them tomorrow on my day off and go for a run.
I'm hoping that will work better for my application.
