Supertrapp and Fuelmoto e-series are probably the quietest high performance pipes out there. And among the top performers. I had both on my LRS. The supermeg is slightly quieter then the Fuelmoto. Tried the Red Thunder. Mine didn't have the Europe "quiet" fitting on the end and man, it was loud. Took it off and put my e-series back on. Too loud for me. Much happier with the e-series and seemingly no difference in performance. In fact the "e" feels better at lower RPM's >2700. Fuelmoto pipe is light years ahead of the supertrapp in build quality. All just my opinion of course.

My used 2012 Switchback came with the nightstick slip on with closed end cap and 14 disks, I recently changed it to an open cone end cap and 5 disks and rode it a while and it was really annoying loud and had too much decel pop. I just put it back to closed end cap and 12 disks and like the sound, much more quiet and no more decel pop.

The cat is in the head pipes on the LR 2:1, not the mufflers.

I would assume it's the same on the Low Rider S?

I have a supertrapp supermeg on my LR,18 discs and closed end cap supplied with exhaust. has a little more sound than stock but still a reasonable DB level. I do not like loud exhausts either is why chose this one.

It sounds like Supetrapp is the way to go. Do any of you have a part #? It's hard to tell on their website...Any pics of this pipe on bikes?

Just to clarify before you make your purchase: Mchad has had both the Supertrap Supermeg and the Fuelmoto E-series on his Lowrider S. Both are similar in design. Through his experience it is his opinion the Fuelmoto setup is far superior in quality although perhaps a bit louder. He has proven to be a neutral and fair assessor of Products for the Dyna which means he buys a lot of stuff and gets rid of it it it doesn't meet his expectations. Kind of like a self funded Consumer Reports for the forum.

PS Both bikes in his signature are E-series 2 into 1.
