Default Looking for hard saddle bags that...

....can fit at least a half helmet , and by chance a full face helmet would be optimal. Tired of lugging my jacket, gloves and helmet around.

hard case with locks. No leather.

any suggestions?

for a street bob 2015.

For a FF helmet the only bags that I know of would be Leatherpros retro bags and you would only be able to lock the zippers. Biker`s Friend would fit a FF helmet but I don`t know if it could be locked. I`m afraid a cable lock might be your only option.

Hmmm even half helmet would be okay. Not ideal but beggers cant be choosy if they don't make one that fits a FF.

The current road glide saddle bags will just snugly fit my harley half. Looking for something that width at least.

I unfortunately don't trust my helmet on a cable. My helmet screams take me. It's a special edition arai from Japan I just got. I rather have it tucked away out of sight to keep honest people honest.

I modified a set of touring bags to fit my Dyna. A half helmet fits fine. Most aftermarket bags/kits put the bags so far back they stick out past the rear fender.

I set it up for touring but it's all quick-release and comes off in a couple mins.

Ndfastin, those look really good. Are the bags supported on the bottom in some way?

On the touring bikes, the bags are supported at the bottom. The bags from a Switchback might work. I don't think they're supported at the bottom.

I made the brackets myself the bags attach the same as touring bikes and the brackets attach to the fender bolts. They actually have less vibration than the touring bikes do.

The Switchback bags attach at 3 points, the top front, top rear and at the bottom of the elongated fender. They won't work with a short rear fender without a 3rd lower mount/bracket.
