I've given the matter some serious thought, and while both of these bikes are excellent, there are a few things which have swayed me toward the LRS.
Larger fuel tank, Cruise control, the more traditional feel of the engine. Also, if I get a LRS and decide to trade for a new Fat Bob at some point in the future, I can always do that. But I won't be able to go back and get a new LRS.
The only problem I've encountered is actually finding a LRS. I contacted five or six dealerships and couldn't find one anywhere. In addition, most told me they had done bike trades with other dealerships to get their last LRS and wouldn't be able to do that again. So I looked on Cycle Trader and found a bunch of new ones. However, when I actually called every one I found was already sold and they simply hadn't pulled the listing. Almost gave up and went with the new Fat Bob, but finally got a message from a far away dealer who who had one.
So I have a vanilla LRS parked next to my XDiavel. They're kind of an odd pair as the LRS looks tiny and frail compared to the X, but that's okay. I have plans to fix that!
But the wife is leaning on me to trade the X in on a Limited so we can ride together. Hmmmm... I wanted the LRS so I can do stupid things to it, but I sure don't want to give up my X.
I'd probably get stabbed in my sleep if I just went and bought the Limited as a third bike. First world problems, I suppose.

Rode the Streetbob today, very good bike. Doesn't give up much to the 114 IMO.
I could wheelie it pretty easy even with the little apes on it.

I still dont understand why they used a different crank in the 107. I'm sure that theyhave their reasons but, its seems like compilation for no reason. Whenfolks get to modding the 107s... people will be put off but, honestly the current 120" kit limitation on the 107 will be worked around somehow.
