Default Arts & Crafts- battery box bag

So I am contsatly stuffing random **** in my pistol pocket and always have no room to actually carry in it. Tends to just collect the random crap I don't want in my pockets. After looking around for additional storage, I couldn't bring myself to spend as much as vendors wanted for tank bags, bigger bar bags and the only battery box bags I could blind were leather. I figured that would clash with my leatherpros t-sport bags and wanted something in nylon. After thinking through it I figured I could do something on the cheap. I searched through my many boxes of tactical **** but couldn't find an appropriate pouchb that wasn't being used and I didn't want to recolor anbexpensive multicam puch I found a black MOLLE admin pouch on EBay that matched the size of the battery box for 10 dollars (cheap Chinese crap) and ordered it. I cut an insert out of a sheet of kydex i already had and molded it to the battery box. Slid it inside the pouch, added some support for the bottom and bolted it up. All in all 10 dollars of new parts. I think I will add another 12V outlet in the bag as well but that's for another day. It's slanted in the pics but that is the actual angle of the battery cover.

Looks outstanding.
Do you have a link for that bag ?
You have motivated me to start modding my 2000 FXDX again.
Thanks for sharing.

Well done. I have a similar bag just about that size, velcro wrapped to my T bars somewhat hidden behind the cafe fairing. Amazing how much crap you can fit in that. If I didn't have my solution I'd be copying the hell out of your idea!

Like that! Id buy that one. Been looking for one to add space on top of my PP. Just alot of nasty ones with buckles, frills and silly stuff on em. Thats the style that belongs on a Dyna

Better be careful HD might copy it and claim it as theirs and sue you for copyright infringement. Looks good.
