Default Rear Axle Question

I need to make a rear wheel alignment and belt adjustment. I don't seem to have a wrench big enough for the rear axle. Can someone please tell me what size wrench I need for a 2015 Dyna Fat Bob? I assume it's the same size on the same year Softails as well. Thank you!

Just kidding. Not sure on the size. I bought some cheap large 1inch drive socket set from harbor freight that's come in handy a few times when working on the bike. Fork tube caps and rear axle for example. If you're still in a jam tomorrow I'll run out to the garage and check what size.

According to the parts manual at MoCo's SIP:

That's the thread, not the hex. STANDARD hex for M24 nut is 36mm (1-7/16 is close). I wouldn't put any money on the nut being standard, tho.

36mm. I just happened to have one on hand the first time I did a tire change on my Dyna because it's the same size as the front sprocket nut on my Triumph Bonneville.

It's definitely a 36mm. Thanks for all the replies.

Make sure you get torque right when you are done. My nut loosened up, ended up ruining the wheel and brake caliper $$$. I bought the bike used so I have no idea who did the work.
